This Sunday PRSSA would like you to join the conversation. Tune into the hashtag #PRSSABowl during the football game Sunday, Feb. 1, at 6:30 p.m. to discuss your favorite (and least favorite) ads.

While public relations and advertising differ, the ability to communicate the right message to the right audience at the right time is always important. As public relations students, we need to be able to analyze messages and evaluate their effectiveness. This Sunday is the perfect opportunity to analyze commercial messages with fellow PRSSA members and football fans.

See you on #PRSSABowl

Internship Opportunity At The Land Trust for Little Tennessee

The Land Trust for the Little Tennessee would like to to pass along this internship opportunity.  Applications will be accepted until February 2.

This summer, LTLT has the opportunity to host an intern funded partly through Z. Smith Reynolds Non-Profit Intern Program (NPIP).  The internship includes a stipend (see links below for details), duration is 8 weeks, start/end dates will be flexible.  LTLT’s staff has identified the need for development of visual displays and accompanying materials which demonstrate the depth and scope of LTLT’s past and current conservation work.  We believe that a summer internship could provide an opportunity to develop these displays.

Here’s the link to the NPIP internship FAQ: http://zsr.org/content/non-profit-internship-program-faqs
