PR and Marketing Tweeps to Follow!

Ten tweeps @JasMollica, Jason Mollica of Carr Marketing, recommends we all follow! These are all PR, marketing and blog people with great insight, conversation and more.


Deirdre Breakenridge (@dbreakenridge)- The co-founder of #PRstudchat is one of PR’s leaders. She is the president and executive director of Mango! Creative Juice. Deirdre is the author of a number of terrific PR books that should be part of your required reading.


Andrew Worob (@Worob)- A digital communications manager at Ruder Finn, Andrew is the behind the blog, “PR at Sunrise.” It’s one of the blogs I read daily and always get something out of it. Andrew’s tweets are also straight and to the point. Very intelligent.


Stephanie Wonderlin (@swonderlin)- If you love social media, you need to be following and watching Stephanie’s work. She is the smartie behind “TweetheartTV,” an interactive social media show on YouTube. You will learn something new with each episode.


L.A. Jones (@OffThe_Record)- L.A. is a guy who has tweets that I always read. I find myself nodding in agreement to many of them and if I don’t agree, I know L.A. is up for a good discussion. He’s smart and has the PR know how to really teach you something.


Justin Goldsborough (@JGoldsborough)- Justin specializes in digital strategy and education at Fleishman-Hillard. He is also the co-moderator of #pr20chat. I enjoy reading Justin’s blog,, because it has everything you could ever want if you like PR, digital, and marketing.


Mikinzie Stuart (@mikinzie)- Students, take a gander at what Mikinzie is doing. Because it was only a year ago that she was in your same position. Her blog, PR Geek Speak, is a must read. A digital PR pro at Peppercom, you can always expect awesome tweets from her as well.


Adam Vincenzini (@adamvincenzi)-The great thing about Adam is that he’s always thinking of different ways to contribute to our field. The lead Social Media Consultant at @ParatusComms in London, he’s also blogging at as well as the European Contributing Editor for


Beth Harte (@BethHarte)- There is nothing that I do not like about Beth. I never pass over her tweets. An Integrated Marketing & Communications pro, she is the moderator of #IMCchat and


Jackie Lampugnano (@jackielamp)- One of my favorite tweeps. She’s smart, tech savvy, and gets it. An account executive at Walker Sands in Chicago, Jackie is one half of the blog team at GenWisePerspective.


Kimberly Lucio (@Kimberly_Lucio)- Kim is the other half of the GenWisePerspective team. An interactive marketer at Walker Sands, she knows her way around the web. She’s always great for a smart conversation. [One of the brightest minds and most supportive people I know – from Lauren]

Jeremy Pepper @jspepper – Jeremy has been in PR for more than 15 years and really knows the ins and outs of the industry and always has a lot of valuable insight for PR students.


Valerie Simon @valeriesimon – Valerie is the other co-founder of #PRstudchat and #HAPPO. She always has great tweets about PR and is very supportive of the PR community and everyone in it.


PR Jobs @GetPubRelatJobs – They post the latest PR jobs and internship opportunities available around the country. GREAT resource and they post jobs daily!


Kion Sanders @kionsanders – Former PRSSA National Committee member and well established new PR professional from NC. He has a lot of great PR knowledge, especially in fashion PR and always great for convo!


Heather Whaling @PRtini –  President of Geben Communications and #pr20chat co-moderator. She also always has great PR and journalism tweets and is a great person to follow for more personalized, fun tweets!

It’s great to see the living proof of how relationships can be built via social media, and that professional/business conversations can also turn into something fun (aka friendly sports trash talk).
